Dr. Rico Faller

Public Sector; Public Commercial Law; Construction and Real Estate; Environmental Law; Energy Law; Union Law; Life Science and Health

As a specialist lawyer for administrative law, Dr Rico Faller advises and supports clients in public law matters – for cities, municipalities, companies, NGOs and private individuals. He has been part of the Caemmerer Lenz team since 2005 and provides support in particular in complex, often politically charged situations and proceedings. For him, public law is one of the most dynamic areas of law: political decisions raise new legal questions that require clear and practical answers in order to enable well-founded decisions. This is precisely what his work aims to achieve – analytically, strategically and with a realistic view of opportunities and risks. Often in collaboration with a network of experts, he develops viable solutions even in difficult cases. His main areas of expertise are municipal law, environmental and public building law, planning and infrastructure law, as well as constitutional and EU law. He is a lecturer at the University of Public Administration in Kehl, an honorary judge at the Karlsruhe Judicial Service Court, a former scholarship holder of the State Graduate Funding Programme, a member of the Society for Environmental Law and the Working Group on Administrative Law in the German Bar Association. He stands for legal advice that looks beyond the law – clear, well-founded and practice-oriented, even and especially when things get difficult.
