We are firmly established in the region
For more than 70 years, Lenz Caemmerer has been one of the leading law firms in the Basel region and neighbouring south-western Germany. Across our offices, we have a team of around 40 lawyers, auditors and tax advisers. Together, we are a strong and reliable partner for companies, organisations and private individuals. We combine the experience and commitment to quality rooted in our long-standing tradition with an entrepreneurial mindset and a forward-looking approach to legal advice.
Our Basel office was established in 1955. Lenz Caemmerer took its present form in 1998 through the merger of two equally established law firms in Basel and Karlsruhe, which shared similarly long traditions, a common professional ethos, a broad range of advisory services and a strong cross-border focus. Since then, our clients have benefited from close cooperation across both sides of the border, the long-standing notarial practice of our Basel office, which offers notarial services on attractive terms, and our dedicated French Desk. This enables us to provide comprehensive cross-border advice in Switzerland, Germany and France using our own in-house resources.
